TOSCANA is a Contract Research Organisation (CRO), offering a wide range of pre-clinical services for drug discovery, pre-clinical development in oncology and other human diseases, ion channel studies, thanks to its consolidated experience and expertise in the screening and analysis of pharmacological compounds, in the development of oncological models and in the production and manipulation of antibodies for research purposes.
In particular, DI.V.A.L. provides in-vitro and in-vivo preclinical services for the screening and evaluation of new drugs and formulations, ranging from in-vitro cell culture tests to in-vivo models, customizable on customer request. For in vivo studies, a dynamic and modular optical imaging system (PhotonIMAGER) can be used for the detection, localization and quantification of the optical dynamic signal of live animals, allowing longitudinal studies to be performed on the same animal, minimizing experimental variability and the number of animals per study.
Moreover, DI.V.A.L. offers a service of development and production of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies tailored to the customer's needs.
