For its purposes, the Cluster develops and carries out activities, services and initiatives mainly in the Tuscan territory. Most of these activities are reserved exclusively or privileged to members of the Cluster. Requests from non-members are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Companies, research organizations, business associations, healthcare facilities, service centres operating in the life sciences (pharmaceutical, biotech (for therapy or diagnosis), biomedical, ICT for health, nutraceutical, and related sectors) can join the Tuscan Life Sciences Cluster, following the indications given below. There are no territorial foreclosures for the potential affiliates, but the operational scope and objectives of the Cluster are linked to the Tuscan territory.
Application for membership
In order to join the Cluster and take advantage of its services and initiatives, the interested organisation has to send the application for membership (see below) by email to info@scienzedellavita.it , indicating contact details (e-mail and telephone) and a brief description of the activity, so that the Cluster secretariat can evaluate the relevance of the organization with the life sciences sector (pharmaceutical, biotech for therapy or diagnosis, biomedical, ICT for health, nutraceutical, and related supply chains)
Adhesion
If the assessment of the application is successful, the interested organisation will receive, at the e-mail address indicated, instructions for the finalisation of the application, which will involve the completion and signature of the following documents:
- agreement regarding the provision of the Cluster services (document here), in which the type of membership of intereste (base (free of charge) or advanced (surcharge)) has to be specified.
- the form with the full data of the applicant organisation, accompanied by a copy of a valid document of the legal representative (Annex 1 of the membership agreement)
The e-mail indicated in the membership form as a reference for the organization, and any further emails notified to the Cluster secretariat, will be included in the Cluster mailing list and used for communications related to specific or sector-specific opportunities, newsletters, information on calls for proposals, events, seminars, surveys.
Cancellation of membership
If you wish to cancel your membership in the Cluster, simply send an email to the Cluster secretariat indicating that you no longer wish to be member of the Cluster. After cancellation, it will no longer be possible to access the initiatives and services reserved for affiliates with immediate effect, and the access credentials to the Cluster website will be revoked. Any annual payment for advanced membership will not be refunded.
