Il 2 luglio 2019 la Commissione europea ha ufficialmente aggiornato il Work Programme 2018-2020 Health, demographic change and wellbeing di Horizon 2020 con informazioni relativamente al Bando "Better Health and care, economic growth and sustainable health systems" la cui maggior parte dei Topic aperti ha scadenza fissata per il 7 aprile 2020 e che mira a conciliare salute migliore e invecchiamento in buona salute con la necessità di sviluppare sistemi sostenibili di assistenza sanitaria e opportunità di crescita per le industrie legate alla salute e all'assistenza.
