"The aim of the Centre is the validation of themes and problems connected with the study of anthropic and natural risks through multidisciplinary approaches and in relation with the subjects of the National Service of Civil Protection and the National Health System. In particular, the Centre:
- promotes research and training activities at various levels in the study, development and implementation of innovative technologies that improve risk and safety conditions in civil and environmental protection activities.
- participates in research and development projects, technology and knowledge transfer, development cooperation, higher education and continuing professional development, health care and civil protection, in the areas of activity of the Centre, with voluntary organizations, regional, national and international bodies and agencies, companies."
