West Systems S.r.l. was founded in 1988 developing technological solutions in the applied electronics sector in various fields, in particular geological and environmental sciences. Currently it operates at a global level both in the provision of environmental consulting services and in the design and implementation of instrumentation, in the fields:
-sampling and chemical-physical, isotopic and radio-isotopic characterization of atmospheric particles and other environmental matrices;
-traceability of food products;
-environmental radioactivity: services and instrumentation for the monitoring and characterisation of natural radioactivity and radionuclide pollution of all environmental matrices;
-environment: implementation of instrumentation for the measurement of chemical-physical parameters of soil, water and atmosphere. Provision of services and instrumentation for the study of gaseous exchanges at the soil-atmosphere interface in the fields of volcanology, geothermal energy, MSW landfills, polluted sites;
-dosimetry: design and development of instrumentation for the measurement of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation;
-process automation.
