The company, founded in 2014, supports the transformation of the results of optical, photonic and spectroscopic research conducted in the field of biomedical devices, microscopic imaging and detection technologies at research centers, into marketable products, following the project from the initial stages of technical and scientific validation until the product is placed on the market. Our research partners are: IFAC-CNR, LENS and INO-CNR. Two results of the company's activity: EmoLED, a medical device that uses light to heal chronic wounds, already on the market, and Raptor, a laser scanning device capable of transforming a standard microscope into a two-photon microscope, with significant advantages in terms of width and depth of penetration, level of definition and operating speed.

"The Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology (LAMMB) is involved in research in the field of bacterial genetics, genetic engineering, microbial pathogenicity, host-parasite interaction, vaccine development and study of their immunogenicity and advanced immunization technologies.
The LAMMB is equipped with the latest equipment necessary to work with both eukaryotic and bacterial cells and carry out molecular and immunological studies both in vitro and in animal models. The facility has Class 2 and Class 3 biosecurity laboratories and a animal facilities for mice at Biosecurity Level 3 lab."
